About Judith Ingalls, MD, MEd

Dr. Ingalls graduated from the University of Vermont where she received both a Medical Degree and a Master’s Degree in Education.

In 1981 she began her career as a family physician and emergency room doctor in Telluride, Colorado, where she treated adults, children, ski injuries, and emergencies of all types. She also practiced obstetrics and delivered babies at a hospital which was 65 miles away over a mountain pass.

From Telluride she became the medical director of a hospital emergency room in Hood River, Oregon. Surrounded by the beauty of Oregon and the Columbia River Gorge she greeted her son into her life and became a gardener.

Missing the close relationships she had with her private patients, she moved to Arizona and opened a solo family medicine practice in Carefree. This practice evolved into a strong commitment to struggling menopausal women and men needing testosterone therapy. She continues her education with the American Academy of Aging Medicine focusing on Functional Medicine and Hormone Therapy.

Since 2010, when she became a Certified Menopause practitioner, she focuses on the care of women and men challenged by their mid-life changes.

She lives with her husband in Scottsdale and enjoys, biking, hiking, and the challenges of gardening in the desert.
